At the eighth edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) that kicked off yesterday (October 15), Jio launched its two budget-friendly 4G feature phones to empower every Indian with digital services. Dubbed the JioBharat V3 and the JioBharat V4, the phones are priced at Rs 1,099 and come with a monthly recharge plan of Rs 123, including unlimited voice calls and 14GB of data. This – according to Jio – will provide savings of almost 40 per cent compared to other players in the market. The feature phones will be soon available on Amazon, JioMart, and offline stores.
The next-generation JioBharat V3 and V4 4G phones 'bring style and design into the heart of digital transformation'. The former is a style-centric phone blending sleek design with functionality. Jio says it is meant for those who demand more than just utility from their phones. The latter, on the other hand, is design-focused, gets 'cutting-edge digital services', and has a 'premium feel', despite its price.
