Instagram's carousel function, which debuted in 2017, has long been a favourite feature. The option to include several photos or videos together has proven popular, whether it is for a travel journal or just a compilation of memes. The platform is now introducing a major upgrade that could improve the sharing of multiple photographs and videos on the social media network. Users can now add more content in a single carousel than the previous maximum of 10 uploads. According to the Meta-owned platform, this modification makes it easier for users to upload their "end-of-summer photo dumps." Notably, it expands upon Meta AI Studio, an AI avatar development platform that was released to users in the United States last month. The update is being rolled out internationally, letting users share even more of their experiences, creativity, and daily lives.

Instagram has announced that users can now include up to 20 images or videos in a single carousel. Users who share a lot of content will find it more convenient as a result of this feature's growth because it removes the need to split media collections into several postings. On Instagram, you may swipe right to view carousels.
Instagram's Carousels feature was first unveiled in 2015, with the ability to incorporate up to five pictures. It was expanded in 2017 to include videos, and the limit was raised to ten. In March, the platform was said to be exploring the possibilities of this feature by enabling a select group of users to add up to 15 frames in a single carousel. It was expected to grow to include more users over time.
To improve the experience, particularly for content creators, Instagram has been releasing new features and improving old ones in recent months. Instagram Reels gained multi-track functionality last month with an upgrade that let users include up to 20 tracks in a single reel.

AI characters were also introduced using Meta AI Studio. Users can, as the name implies, build an AI-powered character with a name, tagline, and description; this data will serve as the foundation for the development of a mini chatbot. Additionally, Instagram content producers can create AI versions of themselves that can reply to stories and send direct messages (DMs).
