Infinix has launched its gaming-oriented smartphone – the GT 20 Pro – in India at a starting price of Rs 22,999 (inclusive of bank offers). It now leads the charge as the country's first smartphone powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC, which comes paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The gaming-focused phone has a cyber mecha design with an RGB mini-LED array and a C-shaped ring on the rear. Its LED interface offers eight colour combinations and four lighting effects. The latter can be customised according to one's needs. Along with these, the phone also gets a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo gaming chip offering features such as a 90FPS high frame rate and SDR to HDR. It comes in two different configurations: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999, respectively. Both prices are inclusive of bank offers. Once these offers end, prepare to spend Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB and Rs 26,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model

The smartphone runs on Android 14-based XOS14 custom skin out-of-the-box, with the company offering two Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches. It will go on sale through Flipkart, starting May 28.
This smartphone boasts a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 sensor with support for optical image stabilisation, and twin 2-megapixel sensors. Meanwhile, the front packs a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The 6.78-inch 10-bit FHD+ AMOLED display of the GT 20 Pro is marked by variable refresh rates (60Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz), a 360Hz touch sampling rate, a 1,080x2,436 resolution, and up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness.
While the phone misses out on a 3.5mm headphone jack, it offers a USB Type-C port for high-resolution audio output. Other connectivity options include NFC, FM radio, GPS, OTG, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, as well as an X-axis linear motor. Sensors on board include a light sensor, e-compass, G-sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.

The GT 20 Pro is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging. It measures 164.26 x 75.43 x 8.15mm and tips the scales at 194 grams. Colour choices include Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver.
