To further cement its position in the smartphone photography space, telecommunications giant Huawei will launch its next flagship device P30 Pro will come with super zoom lens.
The all new Huawei smartphone is expected to break cover on March 26 in Paris.
Clement Wong, VP of Global Product Marketing at Huawei Consumer Business Group in a meeting at MWC 2019 had confirmed that the upcoming P30 Pro smartphone will come with a periscope-style camera capable of "super-zoom" technology which will build on the legacy of already magnificent P20 Pro’s camera.
The P30 Pro will improve the picture quality multi-fold, especially in the low light condition thereby leaving a lasting impact on the overall camera experience, said Huawei.
The company has not detailed any further specifications about the device, except the smartphone will pack excellent cameras, fast processor and OLED displays.
Successor to hugely popular P20 Pro, the P30 Pro is designed to further elevate the smartphone photography for the users. Launched last year, the P20 Pro sported a triple Leica camera and set a new benchmark for the smartphone photography that matches the quality of DSLRs.
In January, Huawei announced its global smartphone shipments for the year 2018 crossed 200 million units, thanks to the Huawei P20 and Mate 20 series. Further, in the second and third quarters of 2018, Huawei became the world's second largest smartphone manufacturer, capturing a market share of 14.6 per cent.
According to a report by global consulting agency Brand Finance, Huawei ranked 12th on the ‘Brand Finance Global 500 2019’ with an increase in its brand value by more than 63 per cent.
