Huawei’s upcoming flagship device -- Mate 30 Pro is expected to come with a large display having 90Hz refresh rate, four cameras, and a 55W fast charging. According to the leaked images, the front of the phone will have a dual-sided curved display along with a punch-hole camera.
The Mate 20 Pro won’t be the first phone to sport a 90Hz refresh rate, as China’s OnePlus has already brought that feature in its OnePlus 7 Pro. The higher refresh rate ensures lag free gaming and visuals all the time.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be powered by the Kirin 985 SoC, a HiSilicon Balong 5000 5G modem, a report in the Chinese website IThome revealed. The smartphone will come with a 5x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom support, similar to Huawei P30 Pro. The quad camera setup will be present in the shape of a ‘V’ at the back. The smartphone is expected to come in black, red, gold white, blue, chrome white, classic blue and classic red colours.
According to the earlier media reports, the 6.71-inch curved OLED display of Mate 30 Pro will have a QHD+ resolution.
The Mate 20 Pro was launched in late 2018, so we're probably looking at around the same time of year in 2019 for the follow-up and might coincide with the launch of Google Pixel 4. The Mate 20 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup, each with a different focal length. The device is powered by Huawei’s densest and highest performing system on chip (SoC) – Kirin 980. Manufactured with the advanced 7nm process, the Kirin 980 SoC offers improved performance, better battery efficiency and a smoother user experience.
