At the Made by Google event on August 13, Google introduced the Pixel Buds Pro 2, priced at Rs 22,900. Available in Porcelain, Hazel, Peony, and Wintergreen, these earbuds are built for both comfort and performance. They feature 11mm drivers and a high-frequency chamber for rich bass and clear treble. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 offers up to 8 hours of listening time on a single charge, plus an additional 30 hours with the charging case. A quick 15-minute charge delivers 3 hours of playback. The Tensor A1 chip also enhances Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), making it twice as effective as before. The earbuds come with four ear tip sizes for a secure and comfortable fit.
Leveraging Google's Gemini AI, these earbuds offer comprehensive voice assistant capabilities. Users can execute commands hands-free for tasks ranging from setting reminders to requesting music recommendations. Gemini Live enables extended, natural conversations without the need to unlock the device. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 include a Find My Device function, equipped with a ringing speaker in the charging case to facilitate the location of misplaced earbuds.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 also incorporate an advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system, which Google claims to be twice as effective as previous models. Powered by the Tensor A1 chip, the earbuds continuously adapt to the ambient environment, up to three million times per second, to deliver superior noise isolation and an immersive listening experience. To optimize call clarity, the earbuds employ advanced noise reduction technology to isolate the user's voice from background disturbances. Additionally, Conversation Detection automatically adjusts noise cancellation settings when speech is detected, ensuring seamless transitions between listening and speaking.
The integration of spatial audio with head tracking provides an immersive auditory experience by dynamically adjusting sound based on the user's head movements. Moreover, the earbuds offer seamless connectivity, allowing effortless switching between multiple devices without manual intervention.
