A video showcasing the Google Pixel 9 in pink colour has emerged online ahead of its August 13 launch. The 12-second alleged hands-on video also reveals the Pixel 9's rounded sides and glossy back panel. The matte-finished camera bar appears to be bigger than the Pixel 8. In addition, the phone's squared-off frame matches the design language seen in the previous leaks. According to reports, the smartphone is already on sale in Algeria. Interestingly, Google is bringing the pink colour option on their Pixel phones for the first time. It has introduced shades such as blue, green, rose, and mint for its mobile portfolio alongside the more conventional black and gray. To know the potential features of this new entrant to the Google Pixel series, read on.

Although there could be some adjustments to the design, the smartphone is unlikely to change much from within. It is said to have the Tensor G4 processor, which is unlikely to deliver significant enhancements in performance over the Tensor G3 found in the models from the previous year. The upcoming Pixel 9 range is also expected to run on Android 15.
The standard Pixel 9 could have a 6.24-inch AMOLED display, whereas the Pro and XL editions may feature larger 6.34-inch and 6.73-inch panels, respectively, each with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. In line with the company's persistent devotion to development and customer satisfaction, the Pixel 9 series is also expected to boast improvements in camera and battery life, among others. The smartphone may also include new artificial intelligence (AI) features.

There are currently no official details available about the price. However, given the launch prices of the Pixel 8 last year, we can expect that the base model of the Pixel 9 to cost somewhere around Rs 80,000. More information about the smartphone is expected to surface online as the launch date draws near.
