Google has introduced the Pixel 9 series in India along with the Pixel Buds Pro 2 earphones and the Pixel Watch 3. There are four devices in the Pixel 9 series: the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. All of these come with superior Al features for improved efficiency and imaging. The standard model (Pixel 9) costs Rs 79,999 for the sole 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version. It is available in Obsidian, Peony, Porcelain, and Wintergreen colour options. In contrast, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL with the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage version are priced at Rs 1.10 lakh and Rs 1.23 lakh, respectively. They are available in four different colors: hazel, porcelain, rose quartz, and obsidian. According to Google, pre-orders for the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will open today, while the deliveries will begin on August 22. Although the precise dates have not yet been disclosed, both the Pixel Fold and the standard Pro model will be accessible in September.

Coming to the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the smartphone is priced at Rs 1.73 lakh for the sole 16GB+256GB RAM. It is available in porcelain and obsidian colours. Read on to know the specifications of these Google handsets in detail.
It is the most affordable variant in the series, equipped with the company's Tensor G4 processor and the Titan M2 security coprocessor. It has a 6.3-inch OLED display which offers a refresh rate ranging between 60 and 120 Hz and a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels. The panel's local brightness is 1800 nits, while its peak brightness is 2700 nits. Additionally, the screen boasts a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover. For photography, the Pixel 9 has a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Octa PD wide-angle camera with an image sensor size of 1/1.31-inch an 8x Super Res Zoom, and a 1/2.55-inch sensor-sized 48-megapixel Quad PD super wide-angle camera. There is also a 10.5-megapixel dual PD selfie camera with autofocus on the front. The camera unit can record 4K videos at 24/30/60 frames per second. It boasts several AI functions like Magic Eraser, Best Take, Photo Unblur, and Night Sight.
The standard model is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery that supports both Qi-certified wireless charging and 45W cable fast charging (separately available). It is stated that in roughly 30 minutes, the wired charging technique can fully charge the battery from zero to 55%. On a single charge, the device is claimed to provide more than 24 hours of battery life.
The Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL variants use the same processor, software, and SIM as the standard model. However, in terms of display, the Pixel 9 Pro sports a 6.3-inch (1280 x 2856) Super Actua (LTPO) OLED panel with a variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz, 495ppi pixel density, and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. The Pixel 9 Pro XL, on the other hand, boasts a massive 6.8-inch (1,344 x 2,992) SuperActua (LTPO) OLED screen with a max refresh rate of 120Hz, a pixel density of 486ppi, and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits.
For photography, the two Pro models include three cameras on the back: a 48-megapixel Quad PD ultrawide camera, a 50-megapixel MP Octa PD wide camera, and a 48-megapixel Quad PD telephoto camera that can zoom up to 30x Super Res Zoom and 5x optical zoom. They have a 42-megapixel Dual PD selfie camera with autofocus for taking pictures and having video chats. The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a bit bigger 5,060mAh battery than the Pixel 9 Pro, which has a 4,700mAh battery. they both allow 45W wired fast charging and wireless charging via Qi chargers.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold's external cameras include a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera with a 20x Super Res Zoom, an f/3.1 aperture, and an optical zoom of up to 5x. The wide and telephoto cameras feature optical and electronic image stabilisation.

The cover display has a 10-megapixel camera with an f.2.2 aperture, the same as the inner panel. The smartphone has a 4,650mAh battery that can be charged with both Qi wireless chargers and PPS chargers (45W).
