Google with its Pixel series of smartphones has successfully showed how far its camera and camera software from the rest of the flagship smartphones. And Google continued to impress all of us with its Night Sight and Super Res Zoom features that came with Pixel 3. While Google Pixel 3 stayed far ahead with its single camera system, however, for its next Pixel 4 smartphone, Google is going to change its game.
While Google has already confirmed that the upcoming Pixel 4 series will come with dual rear camera setup, a code discovered by XDA developers has revealed that Google might include a telephoto lens too.
According to XDA developers, the list of sensor IDs in the upcoming Pixel 4 includes a front IR sensor, a front regular sensor, a front wide sensor, a rear regular sensor and a rear telephoto sensor. The IR sensor would be for facial recognition. It would be possible that Google will support the telephoto lens zoom with its Super Res Zoom technique.
The Google Pixel 4 smartphone are also expected to come with dual front firing speakers. Also, according to the media reports, the overall design aesthetics of the new Pixel 4 would be similar to the Pixel 3 – meaning position of the buttons and SIM tray would be same.
The smartphone will be armed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and will run on Android Q. The Pixel 4 is expected to come with with 6GB of RAM unlike 4GB RAM Pixel 3. The company is also working to improve its Assistant experience and the new generation of Google Assistant can reply to your queries even if you are offline.
