Homegrown Bengaluru-basaed start up Emflux Motors today introduced its first electric superbike at the Auto Expo 2018. The Emflux One is fuelled by Samsung’s Lithium-Ion 9.7kWh power cells along with a 60 kW AC induction motor. The maximum power of the bike is restricted to 53 kW.
According to the company, the Emflux One is a fully fledged electric bike with features including Brembo brakes with dual-channel ABS, single-sided swingarm, Ohlins suspension and a smart dashboard with an embedded artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The bike can attain a top speed of 200kmph and accelerates from 0 to 100kph in mere three seconds, the company claimed. The motor offers a power of 71bhp and a torque of 84Nm. All the design circuits have been developed in house by the team of Emflux motors. The bike can run for approximately 200kms, depending on operating conditions.
