Dyson India is set to announce the prices of its OnTrac headphones on September 23 and this will mark the company's entry into the Indian audio market. Unveiled globally in July 2024, the Dyson OnTrac are over-ear headphones, and come with an 8-microphone setup with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, instrumental in eliminating unwanted noise by up to 40dB. This, combined with 40mm neodymium speaker drivers covering a frequency range of 6Hz to 21,000Hz, promises an enhanced listening experience and a balanced & consistent sound profile.
Another highlight of the OnTrac headphones is their over 2,000 customisable colour combinations for outer caps and ear cushions. Dyson says battery life lasts up to 2 weeks with ANC on a single charge. Speaking of which, the OnTrac is equipped with lithium-ion batteries, which can be charged using a USB-C fast charger. A 30-minute charge claims up to 9 hours of playback, while a 10-minute charge delivers up to 2.5 hours of listening.

In terms of build, the Dyson OnTrac headphones are made using aluminium, ceramic, and microfiber materials to ensure durability and comfort. Adding to the overall comfort are multi-pivot gimbal arms and ultra-soft microfiber cushions, while the balanced weight distribution has been achieved through a strategically placed battery within the headband. The headphones will be offered in four colour options upon launch: CNC Copper, CNC Aluminum, CNC Black Nickel, and Ceramic Cinnabar.
Also, the OnTrac offers real-time soundtracking and custom EQ modes (Bass Boost, Neutral, and Enhanced). These features are accessible using the MyDyson app. Other features include head detect, intuitive joystick controls, and crystal-clear calls. Connectivity options are Bluetooth 5.0 and USB-C.
