Dell has launched its premium laptops - the XPS 13 and XPS 15 in India. While the former is priced at ₹1,44,807, the latter is available for ₹1,86,072. Both the devices are available on Amazon India and select Dell Exclusive Stores.
The Dell XPS 13 has a 16:10 display and a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device features a 13.3-inch screen. The bezel-free and 4K UHD+ VESA certified display allows more than 16 million colours. It has an anti-reflective coating of 0.65 percent which cuts the glare down while working outside or in bright light.
The notebook functions on the 10th gen Intel Core processors that begins from Intel Core i3 (1005G1) and goes up to the Intel Core i7 (1065G7) processor. It houses 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM and an Intel Iris Plus graphics. The storage goes up to 2TB PCIe (3×4) SSD. The laptop comes with a 45W AC adapter which charges the 52WHr battery through the Type-C port.
Dell claims that it can offer about 12 hours of battery life when it runs on the UHD model. The XPS 13, weighing 1.2kg, features a 3.5mm audio jack, Thunderbolt 3 ports, and a microSD card reader. The XPS 13 is available in two different colours – frost with arctic white woven glass fiber palm rest. and platinum silver with black carbon fiber palm rest.
The Dell XPS 15, on the other hand, is the perfect semi-portable workstation for creative professionals. It is available in two different variants - a full-HD+ (1920×1200 pixels) non-touchscreen model and a 4K UHD+ (3840×2400 pixels) touchscreen variant.
The laptop has a 15.6-inch 4K UHD display and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display of the gadget offers 94 percent of the DCIP3 colour gamut with 500 nits of brightness and 100 percent of the sRGB colour gamut. In terms of graphics, it has Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU. For an immersive 3D sound quality, it houses the up- firing quad-speaker design along with the built-in Waves Nx.
The laptop runs on the 10th-generation Intel Core i5-10300H at the base which movies up to 10th-generation Intel Core i9-10885H. The storage onboard includes 1TB of PCIe 3 SSD. The device further holds a USB Type-C 3.1 with power delivery, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, and DisplayPort support. The non-touch version comes with a 56Whr battery whereas the touchscreen model has an 86WHr battery.
