Ahead of CES 2021, Dell has announced a number of new products. The most notable additions to the brand's line-up are the updated Latitude 9000, 7000, and 5000 laptops.
The new Latitude 9420 and 9520 notebooks come with a SafeShutter camera, which is a handy privacy feature, as it blocks the webcam when not in use. This means that the webcam will only go online during a private call or a video conference call.
Another new addition to the Latitude 9000 series is the updated latest 11th Generation processors from Intel. Moreover, the laptops now also come in standard clamshell and 2-in-1 form factors and Dell also says that the laptops now feature improved loudspeakers and camera quality. The Latitude 9420 price starts at $1,949 (around ₹1,42,474), while the 9520's price is yet to be unveiled. Regardless, both the laptops will go on sale this spring.
As for the Latitude 7000 series, the 7520 now brings a 4K UHD 15-inch display and a Full HD web camera to the mix. It is priced at $1,649 (around ₹1,20,544), and it will be launched on January 12.
Apart from that, the Latitude 5420 and Precision 3560 that are now said to be more eco-friendly than ever, as both laptops incorporate 21% bioplastic in their lids. They will be available starting January 12 as well. While the former is priced at $1,049 (around ₹76,683), the latter starts at $1,189 (around ₹86,917).
