Nothing has launched the first smartphone in India under the CMF sub-brand – the Phone 1. Alongside this, the company has also introduced two new wearables: the Watch Pro 2 and the Buds Pro 2. For budget-conscious buyers, CMF has priced the smartphone under Rs 20,000. With prices ranging from Rs 15,999 to Rs 17,999 in the country, the CMF Phone 1 is offered in two configurations – 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. With a Rs 1,000 discount on select bank cards, the device can be had at a starting price of Rs 14,999. Starting July 12, the phone will be sold in India through Flipkart. A wide range of accessories is also available, including a lanyard, a stand, a cardholder, and a removable back cover in different colour options. 

Under the skin, the CMF Phone 1 gets a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with two years of Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches. The battery is a 5,000mAh unit with 33W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.6.0.

CMF Phone 1: Design, Display, Camera

Display-wise, you get a full HD+ AMOLED panel measuring 6.7 inches. The panel supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 700nits of typical brightness, 2,000nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. Another talking point is the design – the Phone 1 has a capsule-shaped, silver-coloured rear camera module at the top left corner, while the volume and power buttons are on the left and right edges, respectively. 

The smartphone's back panel features four screws along the edges, allowing users to customise their phones by swapping the back panel cases out using a flathead screwdriver. Cases for the phone come in black, orange, blue, and light green shades. The back panel also has a circular dial at its bottom right corner, which can be unscrewed to attach accessories like a phone stand, lanyard, or pouch.  

In terms of optics, the rear panel houses a 50-megapixel main sensor and a secondary portrait lens. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Also present is Ultra XDR co-developed with Google for enhanced photography in low-lit conditions. For biometric authentication, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor, rather than a side-mounted sensor. 

CMF Watch Pro 2: Specs

Priced from Rs 4,999 to Rs 5,499, the CMF Watch Pro 2 has an interchangeable bezel design. It boasts of a 1.32-inch AMOLED always-on display with over 100 customisable watch faces. The wearable device supports tracking modes for more than 120 different sports as well as offers automatic recognition of 5 sports. Like any other smartwatch, it allows users to make Bluetooth calls, receive notifications, and track health metrics (heart rate, workouts). As per Nothing, the battery life of the Watch Pro 2 is rated at up to 11 days.

CMF Buds Pro 2: Specs

The CMF Buds Pro 2 are a successor to the Buds Pro. Compared to the latter, the former gets upgraded active noise cancellation at up to 50 decibels, an expansive frequency range of up to 5000Hz, and improved sound quality. The device is powered by dual drivers combining an 11mm bass driver and a 6mm tweeter. Paired with LDAC technology, the CMF Buds support Hi-Res Audio Wireless and Dirac Opteo.

With the updated earbuds, CMF offers 43 hours of total battery life and a 10-minute charge for 7 hours of playback. These can be had at Rs 4,299.
