CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, is building excitement for the release of its first smartphone by revealing its features through teasers. The brand recently confirmed that its handset will use the newest MediaTek Dimensity processor. It will also have 8 GB of RAM. Notably, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor, which is a successor to the Dimensity 7050 chipset, was unveiled last month. It is built on TSMC's 4nm Gen 2 technology and includes four performance cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz. With this processor, the upcoming CMF Phone 1 will have dual 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity options. Additionally, it will boast 4K video recording.
The new octa-core processor scored 673,000 points on the AnTuTu performance test, surpassing the Snapdragon 782G, Dimensity 7050, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processors.

Let's take a quick look at other features of the upcoming CMF smartphone.
The Phone 1 will go on sale in India on July 8, alongside the new CMF Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2, at 2:30 p.m. IST. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart, the company's website, and select retail outlets. The smartphone is confirmed to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that supports 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

Industry rumours state that the CMF phone will come in black and orange colour options. It is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP52 grade for dust and water resistance. For photography, the smartphone could get a 50MP primary sensor and a depth sensor. It may include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 14. Although the price announcement is just around the corner, industry reports indicate that CMF may price its first phone below Rs 20,000.
