Following numerous teasers, CMF, the subsidiary of Nothing, has formally announced that its first smartphone along with the all-new Buds Pro 2 and the Watch Pro 2 will be launched at the Community Update event on July 8 at 10 a.m. (2:30 p.m. IST). The CMF Phone 1 has been in the headlines for a long time owing to numerous revelations and speculations on the internet. Although it is too early to comment on the price, the CMF device is expected to bear a price tag of over Rs 20,000.
The short video officially released by the brand indicates that the design of the CMF Buds Pro 2 will not change from its predecessor. Its case will have a circular wheel with holes where a lanyard can be fastened. The earbuds in the casing will probably have a stick shape and feature a square form factor. It's probably going to cost less than Rs 5,000.
A wonderful turn of events.

Now that the device's launch has been announced, let's look at its likely specifications.
A recent leak suggests that the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC may power the first-ever CMF smartphone. It could have an octa-core processor, with four cores capped at 2.0GHz and the remaining four clocked at 2.5GHz. The upcoming smartphone will likely be available in two versions (128GB and 256GB), and have a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W of fast charging. The CMF Phone 1 is speculated to have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, it could get a 50-megapixel dual camera arrangement on its rear, and a 50-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

According to official renderings, the CMF Phone 1 is expected to arrive in two or more colours, with the Orange one sporting a polycarbonate body with a vegan leather back panel. At the rear, the smartphone seems to feature an actual volume knob-type design, identical to that of the CMF Neckband Pro.
