For those unaware, Sora Turbo is the latest, more powerful evolution of Sora, OpenAI’s text-to-video AI model that was initially showcased in February. Users can now engage with Sora Turbo more easily, thanks to improved interfaces released by OpenAI, which enable users to enter text, photos, and videos as prompts with ease. These enhancements help users to create videos up to 20 seconds long and in breathtaking 1080p resolution.

The cutting-edge Remix tool gives users more creative control by enabling them to change, swap out, or completely alter parts in their videos. To polish or complete a scene, users can quickly locate and isolate important frames with the Re-cut tool and then stretch them in any direction.
The Storyboard feature offers users complete control over the structure of their videos by facilitating the easy grouping and editing of distinctive sequences on a personalized timeline. On the other hand, the Loop feature makes it possible to create continuous, fluid clips that repeat without interruption, which is perfect for improving rhythm and flow in any kind of work. The Blend feature effortlessly merges two videos into a single, fluid clip, ensuring a smooth transition between them. In contrast, Presets gives users the ability to craft and share custom styles. Sora Turbo is available in distinct plans to accommodate varying user needs. The Plus Plan, included with a ChatGPT Plus subscription, allows for up to 50 video generations per month at 480p resolution, or fewer at 720p. For more demanding users, the Pro Plan offers expanded usage limits—10 times the capacity of the Plus Plan—along with higher video resolutions and longer video durations. However, access to Sora Turbo is currently restricted in certain regions, with the service unavailable in the EU, UK, and India. Additionally, the platform is not open to users under 18 years of age.
