Home appliances and consumer electronics brand Haier is showcasing its next-generation smart home experiences ecosystem at the ongoing CES 2020 in Las Vegas. The smart home portfolio has more than 40 products that allow for customisation based on user scenarios. At its booth, the Chinese company has a hologram video where all devices are IoT connected. There’s Smarter Life space which highlights the functionality and design possibilities of the Haier ecosystem.
The company says that rather than purely developing products, its ecosystem allows users to tailor their personal smart home experience. ‘Haier has always strived to be the industry leader and push the boundaries of possibility. Our ecosystem brings together cutting-edge smart home appliances from our extensive brand portfolio, enabling more families to enjoy a good life powered by IoT technology,’ a Haier spokesperson said in a statement.
For example, if you want to improve the security of your home, you can install a smart security camera, lock and sensor. Those looking for a complete smart experience can design every room in their home using products from Haier’s smart home product portfolio, or elderly and disabled can opt for Smart Kitchen that monitors and automatically turns off the water and gas, and a Smart Closet that automatically stores wheelchairs.
According to the company, Haier Smart Home has gained widespread popularity, and its ecosystem boasts around 20 million users globally, of which 13.3 million are in Asia, 4.16 million are in the Americas, 1.4 million are in Europe and 1 million are in Australia.
