boAt Airdopes ProGear: Specs and Features

Air conduction technology is used by the boAt Airdopes ProGear, which has 15mm drivers. Here, sound enters our ears through the air, vibrates the eardrums, and our brains convert those vibrations into electrical signals we understand as sound. By reducing sound leakage and delivering rich, precise sound straight into the ears, Open Audio technology improves this process, giving users a full range of sounds, including deep bass and clear dialogue.

With their silicone tips, standard in-ear earbuds seal off the ear canal; in contrast, the Airdopes ProGear boasts an open-ear design. They frequently hook over the edges for support and rest outside the ear without impeding the ear canal. This design combines immersive audio with situational awareness so that users can enjoy great sound quality while staying aware of their surroundings. For all-day use, open-ear earbuds improve comfort, ventilation, and cleanliness while lowering ear fatigue. The ear hooks are said to be composed of skin-friendly material, and they are supposed to be lightweight.

Additionally, the recently released OWS earphones have a quad mic system with AI support for environmental noise cancellation (ENC), which is meant to provide a steady and clear calling experience. The ProGear's sophisticated Bluetooth v5.3 technology enables continuous, lag-free music delivery over longer distances. When playing games or watching online videos, they are stated to support a 40ms low latency gaming mode, which reduces the lag between audio-visual content.

A 500mAh cell powers the charging case, and each pair of boAt Airdopes ProGear earbuds contains a 65mAh battery. The OWS earphones with the case are claimed to have a battery life of up to 100 hours on a single charge. It is stated that a 10-minute rapid charge can yield a maximum playback duration of 10 hours. Moreover, the device comes with an IPX5 rating.
