Taiwan-based Asus has launched the first CoPilot+ laptop, the Vivobook S 15 OLED, in India for Rs 1.25 lakh. The new device combines high-end craftsmanship and contemporary design with a sturdy all-metal body. It is portable at 1.42 kg and very thin with a 1.47 cm profile. The new Asus laptop boasts a larger Asus ErgoSense touchpad and a keyboard with single-zone RGB backlighting that claims to offer an easy typing experience. Its 180° ErgoLift hinge increases air intake and betters typing ergonomics. The new laptop's core components include a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite Processor with Adreno integrated graphics, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Its Snapdragon X Elite processor possesses Qualcomm's Hexagon NPU, which can execute 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) for AI performance. With 90W USB Type-C fast charging, the laptop's battery lasts up to 18 hours. The device has Windows 11 Home and supports the Copilot, Live Captions, Recall, and Cocreator applications.
The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch 3K (2,880 x 1,620 pixel) OLED panel that boasts an 89% screen-to-body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 600 nits maximum brightness. It features a 1080p webcam with support for the Windows Hello login, a privacy shutter, and infrared (IR) abilities.

The new Asus machine has two USB 4.0 Type-C ports, one 3.5mm headphone jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an HDMI 2.1 port, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. It offers Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity options. Other notable features of the laptop include a dedicated Copilot key, a MicroSD card reader, a Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos Sound System, Built-in Array Microphone.
