Asus launched its second gaming phone, the ROG Phone II, in India last month. The Taiwanese tech giant has now announced that the phone, which probably has the best hardware on paper, will be available for pre-order on Flipkart at noon on October 25. The Asus ROG Phone II price starts at Rs 37,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, and the higher-end variant with 12GB RAM + 512GB storage can be purchased for Rs 59,999.
While the box of the base variant smartphone contains a 10W QC 4.0 compatible charger and an AeroCase cover, the retail box of the costlier version will come with a 30W ROG Charger, AeroActive Cooler, and an Aero Case. As far as accessories are concerned, Asus had unveiled a TwinView Dock for Rs 19,999, a Desktop station at a price of Rs 12,999, and ROG Kunai Gamepad, which is priced at Rs 9,999. The ROG 30W charger can also be purchased for Rs 1,999.
Asus ROG Phone 2 sports a 6.59-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and ships with a fingerprint sensor and 10-bit HDR support. Under the hood, the phone features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, which is claimed to deliver 15 per cent better performance in graphics and 4 per cent improvement in CPU power over Snapdragon 855. The chipset is accompanied by up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 of storage.
The phone also has a liquid cooling tech that keeps it cool while intense usage sessions. The phone is equipped with upgraded ultrasonic Air Triggers 2 shoulder buttons and stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra support. When it comes to the camera, the Asus ROG Phone II has a 48MP primary sensor, and 13MP sensor with wide-angle lens having a 125-degrees field of view. On the front, the phone comes equipped with a 24MP sensor. The Asus phone 2 is powered by 6,000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging.
