Apple has launched the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. The Series 10 is priced at Rs 46,900 and comes in GPS and LTE models. It offers a refined design, better performance, and advanced health tracking, including sleep apnea detection, a larger display, and a faster charging system. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is priced at Rs 89,900 and features a durable titanium case, a brighter display, and longer battery life. It's built for outdoor enthusiasts and athletes, with dual-band GPS, a customisable Action button, and a new Night mode. Both models are available for pre-order now and will be on sale starting September 20.
The new Apple Watch Series 10 features a larger OLED display with enhanced brightness. Apple claims it is the biggest screen ever fitted to an Apple watch. The Apple Watch Series 10 is thinner, measuring only 9.7mm, about 10 per cent slimmer than its predecessor. Despite its smaller size, Apple has kept its key features by cleverly shrinking internal parts like the digital crown and speaker system. It runs on the new S10 chip, which has a four-core neural engine for better performance and smarter features. WatchOS 10 adds improved Smart Stacks, Photos, and Translate apps.
A notable feature is its sleep apnea detection. It tracks breathing patterns during sleep to help identify potential health issues early. The Series 10 is stylish, offers advanced features, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters. Apple also says it charges faster than ever, reaching 80% in just 30 minutes.
The Apple Watch Ultra 2 meets the needs of fitness enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. It tracks workouts with features like automatic stroke detection and lap counting for swimming. The hiking mode includes a built-in compass and offline maps for accurate navigation in remote areas.
With precise GPS, advanced antenna technology, and speaker playback for media, the Ultra 2 supports outdoor activities reliably. WatchOS 11 adds new features such as carbon-neutral manufacturing, sleep temperature tracking, and health alerts for hypertension and Type-2 diabetes.
For convenience, the Ultra 2 charges quickly, reaching 80 per cent battery in just 30 minutes. The Tides app also provides important tidal information for coastal activities.
