Apple is reportedly set to launch the iPhone 17 Slim next year, potentially adding to or replacing one of the models in its current lineup. With the most current iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max, Apple has maintained a pattern of releasing four models per cycle. Nevertheless, a new 'Slim' model is reportedly in the works for the company's upcoming release, and it may cost more than its priciest flagship phone. The iPhone 16 series, is anticipated to make its debut in the second half of 2024. The future of the 'Plus' model is unclear in light of the new Slim variant, which could be discontinued in the same way as the iPhone 13 Mini, Apple's smallest handset debuted in 2021.
The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to feature a new design, with Apple reportedly considering a central rear camera module and an aluminium body. This would be a radical change from Apple's design philosophy that has been in place since the iPhone X was introduced in 2017.

Reportedly, Apple is likewise aiming to make the dynamic island on the iPhone 17 series smaller. The rumoured 6.6-inch screen of the iPhone 17 Slim would put it above the 6.1-inch and 6.3-inch iPhone 17 Pro models but below the 6.9-inch iPhone 17 Pro Max.
We must take care with these statements, though, because we still have more than a year to wait until Apple announces the iPhone 17 series—the successor to the iPhone 16 series, which is set to be unveiled in the middle of 2024.
