It's no secret that the Cupertino-based manufacturer introduces new iPhone models every year. The highly anticipated iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will be the biggest launch from Apple in September with various advancements, including faster charging times. Based on a source from ITHome (China), the new iPhone Pro series will arrive with 40W wired charging and 20W MagSafe wireless charging support. Currently, The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models can charge at up to 27W peak with a suitable USB-C power adapter. They can also charge up to 15W using MagSafe chargers from Apple and approved third parties.
Each variant of the iPhone 15 may charge up to 50% in 30 minutes with a power adapter of 20W or more, similar to the previous iPhone 13 and 14 models. Let's take a closer look at other details of these new Apple iPhones.

The new iPhone series is likely to come with larger batteries than the previous generation models. The iPhone 16 Pro may have a 3,355mAh battery, whereas the 16 Pro Max could include a 4,676mAh unit. The base version is likely to have a 3,561mAh battery, while the iPhone 16 Plus could come with a 4,006mAh unit.
According to industry reports, the tetraprism lens system, first seen on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, will likely be incorporated into the Pro and Pro Max variants of the iPhone 16 spectrum. This technique greatly improves optical zoom capabilities, enabling distant shots with more precision and detail.
Although the iPhone 16's precise specs are unknown, the iPhone 16 Pro variants are likely to get bigger screens than those of earlier models. According to reports, the iPhone 16 Pro will sport a larger 6.3-inch display than the iPhone 15 Pro, which has a 6.1-inch display. On the other hand, the 6.9-inch display on the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to be bigger than the 6.7-inch one on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
