Amazon has introduced a new user interface for Prime Video, which is expected to reach all customers in the coming weeks. Let's take a closer look at all the features of this revamped user interface.

Amazon has begun to roll out a revamped interface for Prime Video to make streaming easier. The redesigned interface will become available to customers across the globe in the following weeks. The streaming giant's latest version includes a redesigned navigation bar and AI-powered recommendations. To begin with, there are now basic categories like Home, Movies, TV Shows, Sports, and Live TV on the redesigned navigation bar, which is on the left. The content that is available with your Prime membership is shown in a dedicated tab to the right, accompanied by sections for add-on subscriptions like Max, Paramount+, and Crunchyroll.

Furthermore, customers may add new subscriptions straight from the navigation bar by choosing from among Amazon's vast array of more than 100 options. Users with a Prime subscription can browse movies and shows that are accessible for no additional cost through the Prime destination in the navigation bar. A new 'hero rotator' feature below the navigation bar is also included to showcase content accessible via subscription or rent.

Other Highlights

The massive streaming site now offers customised AI-generated suggestions on the platform. This function, which provides content suggestions based on user preferences and watch history, is driven by the company's Bedrock AI model. Furthermore, Prime Video now employs Large Language Models (LLMs) to streamline the synopses of movies and TV series that provide a brief overview of the title description. Other enhancements include easy transitions, new animations, and zoom effects.

What Amazon Has to Say?

Kam Keshmiri, Vice president of Design at Prime Video, said 'We’re always listening to customers and reviewing feedback, and it's clear that many are in search of a more intuitive streaming experience.
