Xiaomi-backed wearable brand Huami has just launched the Amazfit Bip S smartwatch, which was first unveiled back in January at the CES 2020. The budget-end smartwatch comes with a square-shaped coloured display, featuring a 1.28" Transflective Always-On colour touch display with a 176x176 resolution and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The smartwatch runs on Amazfit OS and is compatible with devices running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0. The main talking point of the Amazfit Bip S is the 200mAh battery, which the company says can last up to 40 days on a single charge, with basic usage. It will, however, only last up to 15-days in a typical usage scenario, according to Huami.
Other than that, the smartwatch also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, sleep tracking, weather forecast, built-in GPS, app and call notifications, and music control. It also features a heart-rate monitor and supports 10 sports modes for fitness tracking. Huami also says the smartwatch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM. Lastly, the smartwatch comes with two customisable watch faces by default, while more than 40 watch faces that can be downloaded from the watch face store through the Amazfit mobile app.
The Amazfit Bip S smartwatch is priced at ₹4,999 and comes in four colour options – red, orange, warm pink, white rock, and carbon black. You can purchase it, starting today via Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, the company's official website, and offline stores.
