After rolling out the Android 10 OS for the Nokia 9 PureView and the Nokia 8.1, HMD Global, the company that sells Nokia phones, has announced that it has started to roll out the Android Q update to the Nokia 7.1 (Review). The mid-segment smartphone receives the latest Android OS just days after the rollout was announced for the Nokia 9 PureView. HMD Global says it is on track to have even more of its smartphone portfolio running Android 10 by early 2020. According to the users on Twitter, the Nokia 7.1 update is 1274.7MB in size.

As an Android One programme smartphone, the Nokia 7.1 was also launched with a promise of with three years’ worth of guaranteed monthly security updates and two years of OS upgrades. The Nokia 7.1 sports a 5.84-inch full-HD+ panel with 19:9 screen ratio. The display also supports HDR10, which means you can see more contrast while viewing HDR-supported content on the phone.
